The Gingerbread House Date

Here is Gavin and his girlfriend. They met when they were in the same Kindergarten class. Now they go to different schools, but get together as often as possible. Blu restaurant had their 2nd annual gingerbread house building event. They were each given a gingerbread house kit, all the candies they could dream of, hot chocolate, lunch and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. These two had a blast making their houses, hanging out and eating yummy cookies and candies. What a fun date for a lovely couple! Lol!

Ho, Ho, Ho! It's Santa Time

Santa and Mrs. Claus are at Marriott Sugar Land every Sunday from 1:00 - 5:00 offering free pics with your little angels. They're very sweet and take their time with every child. My boys had a great time visiting with them. The photographer will email your Santa pic for free!

We had a lot of fun hanging out in Sugar Land town square after our Santa visit. Their decorations are beautiful! The boys had a lot of fun running around in the cold.

Grandparent's Day at St. Laurence

Grandparent's Day at St. Laurence was celebrated on September 27th. It started at the all school Mass. Then to the school gym for refreshments and entertainment. All grades sang songs and danced while the middle school band and choir also performed for the grandparents. Then the day ended with a classroom and school tour. St. Laurence PTO did an excellent job hosting our grandparents and the students did great entertaining them and making them feel special.

I'm very behind on the blog. We have needed a new computer because it has been running incredibly slow and made updating the blog a pain. We have a new computer now; so I'm getting caught up on posts.

Slade turned 3 on August 17th. He wanted a Disney Cars theme this year; so we had Cars cupcakes and decor in the house because he wanted a party at Moody Gardens "water pool". I can't decorate or take cake there! I'm terrible with pics too. How do you walk around with a camera at a water park? His favorite gift is what PaPa gave him, that 4 wheeler and Slade refers to it as "blue truck". He looooooves his blue truck! He's also a great driver. We had a couple of dinners in Slade's honor. One at Lopez on his actual bday. He loves the song they sing at Lopez for birthdays. Then we had a second bday dinner for him at Lupe Tortilla with PaPa, Ms. Margaret and the Guzzettas. That was a really fun dinner and he received another favorite gift from his cousins, a fire truck! We had so much fun celebrating our sweet Slade.
