Happy 10th Birthday, GAVIN!!!

Gavin's birthday was September 29th. 

 His guests were all boys and one girl :-)

 The weekend after his birthday Art and Gavin went fishing off Lake Calcasieu. Gavin LOVES to fish! He caught the biggest Speckled Trout. They had a successful day out on the water even though the weather was iffy. When they got home we had a yummy fish fry!

Grandparent's Day

Gavin's school celebrated Grandparent's Day on Friday, September 26th. Everyone's grandparents were invited to attend the All School Mass then have refreshments in the gym while the student body preformed songs. The fourth grade sang "Rockin' Robin" and "Rock and Roll Is Here To Stay". The seventh and eight grade band performed as well as did the Middle School Choir. They were lovely performances and it was evident that the students worked very hard to prepare for the event. After the closing prayer; everyone was dismissed for classroom visits. Followed by early dismissal for the student body so they could enjoy a fun day with their grandparents.

Gavin and Slade's guelitos flew in to visit us for a week so they could not only attend Grandparent's Day, but also join us to celebrate Gavin's 10th Birthday! It's been a great time! Gavin and Slade are so blessed to have such wonderful, loving grandparents.

 Gavin started school on August 18th. 
He's a 4th grader at St. Laurence Catholic School.

Slade's first day was September 2nd.

He's in PreK at School For Little Children.

Happy 4th Birthday, SLADE!

 Slade's birthday is August 17th. He wanted to celebrate by having his party at Main Event. He really loves to play their arcade games and bowl. It was a fun party. Happy Birthday sweet boy!
