End of the Year Parties!

Towards the end of the school year Gavin's school had a Mad Science party for the 1st-4th graders. A scientist came and showed them several experiments. Then the kids did 5 fun experiments on their own. They had a great time!

While the 3rd and 4th graders were waiting their turn to do experiments they were playing games in the gym. They played beach volleyball, limbo, hula hooped and jump roped while listening to cool music.

The last week of school, Slade's school had Wacky Day. He really loved his green hair.

 The last day of school was Splash Day at Slade's school. They painted, played car wash, squirters, bubbles, made pies with shaving cream then ate popsicles to cool off.

 Gavin's last day of school was an early dismissal day. They had an All-School Mass then at the end of Mass; Mrs. Haney, their principal announced the end of the year awards. Gavin made the Honor Roll and was given the honor of the Disciple Award. As always, it was a beautiful Mass!

 The evening of Gavin's last day of school was the 3rd grade Pool Party!

 Hula Hoop Contest! There was an awesome DJ at the party supplying some awesome jams!

 Here are all the soon to be 4th graders that attended the pool party. They had a blast. Ate pizza, fruit and cookie cake. The end of the year pool party is always a good time!

Happy Mother's Day!

Slade's school celebrated Mother's Day last Wednesday. They hosted a Mother's Day picnic. It was awesome!

 This was the dessert we were served at the Mom's Day picnic. Slade made it for me. It's chocolate pudding, crushed oreos and a gummy worm. Yum!

Birthday Party Fun!

Gavin and Slade were invited to a couple of bday parties lately. One was at a cool, local park and the other at Gattitown which is a fun place with a lot of games and laser tag. I was able to get some good pics. Happy Birthday, Karlyn and Kaitlyn! I just noticed that I dress Slade in the same bright shirt to every party he goes to. Makes it easy to find him, lol!

Easter

The church where Slade goes to school had an Easter carnival on Palm Sunday. There were moonwalks, a cake walk, face painting, balloon animals, games, refreshments and of course an egg hunt. Slade won the cake walk and was able to pick a cupcake for his prize. Gavin and Slade had a fun time at the First United Methodist Easter carnival. What a great way to start off the Easter week!

It was Ruby's first time at PaPa's. She jumped in the creek for a swim and had a bunch of fun running around with Star. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter!

Go Texan Day!

Slade goes to preschool at First United Methodist's School For the Little Children. This is his first week of school and he loves it! Today was Go Texan Day. They celebrated by having a trail ride, painting bandannas and made their own trail mix. He had a blast!
